Technology

Oxi Swim is a premium pool and spa sanitisation system that is affordable and easy to use. This state-of-the-art innovation has been developed right here in Australia by Queensland inventor Nick Briscoe.

Oxi Swim underwent strict testing at Queensland’s prestigious Somerset College before being approved by Gold Coast Council in 2019 for use in commercial swimming pools. This is regarded as a huge achievement because most alternative sanitisation systems fail to meet all the statutory requirements. In fact, Gold Coast is one of the few regional councils demanding licensed operator commercial swimming pools.

Oxi Swim allows customers to select from two modes of operation. Changing modes is as easy as flicking a switch.

  1. Freshwater– enjoy silky-smooth freshwater bathing, minus chlorine irritants.

  2. Winter– operate pool with no extra sanitisers, keeping off-season costs minimal.

The Oxi Swim controller maintains the pool’s pH balance in every mode.

Hydrogen peroxide and chlorine dioxide: Complementary protection

When hydrogen peroxide, a proven algaecide, is added to chlorine dioxide, the result is soft, translucent, super-gentle water which is safe and sensational to swim in.

Combined, hydrogen peroxide and chlorine dioxide sanitize water far more effectively than chlorine alone — and they do more than clean. They transform water into something visibly clearer, softer to the touch, and free of harsh chemical odors. Despite a shared name, chlorine and chlorine dioxide are two distinctly different chemicals. Chlorine and chlorine dioxide act quite differently in water, following activations.
