Somerset College - Indoor Aquatic Centre

The Problem
Indoor air quality concerns. The facility experienced the symptoms common to heated indoor pools, chemical odour, eye and skin irritation, and air quality that fell short of expectations for a premium education facility.
What we did
Conducted a full diagnostic assessment of water chemistry, dosing systems and ventilation. Identified the root cause and designed a tailored treatment system specific to the facility's water bodies, bather loads and operating conditions.
The result
Zero combined chlorine. No chemical odour. Healthier air quality for students and staff. The system was subsequently approved for commercial use by Gold Coast City Council. Oxi Swim, the technology developed from this project, was awarded 2022 Product of the Year by the MPBAA.
International Biofilm Treatment - Singapore

Volume - 92,000 litres

The Problem
Severe biofilm contamination in a large water storage system. Traditional approaches, including chlorine dioxide discharge, were evaluated but would have cost between SGD 31,000 and SGD 322,000 depending on method.
What we did
Designed and delivered a treatment protocol using proprietary Crystaclear chemistry, sourced and shipped from Australia and Malaysia. Verified compliant with Singapore's Environmental Public Health Act, no NEA licence required, non-dangerous goods classification confirmed
The result
Complete biofilm remediation at a fraction of the cost of conventional alternatives. Demonstrated the international capability and regulatory knowledge that Crystaclear brings to complex water treatment challenges.
Peninsula Hot Springs - Wellness Water Treatment

The Problem
Premium wellness destinations operate at the intersection of two demanding worlds: hospitality water quality expectations, and the chemistry of mineral water bodies that defy standard pool treatment. Hot springs, cold plunge pools and mineral spas each present their own treatment challenges — and at scale, across dozens of water bodies, the complexity multiplies.
What we did
Tailored treatment chemistry across multiple water bodies, ongoing water quality consultation, and the formulation depth to design programs that protect mineral character without compromising disinfection or guest experience.
